Hey there, book addicts!
I hope you guys are doing well. This is the post where I share a couple of quotes from books I’ve (possibly) enjoyed that stood out. I enjoy doing this because I get to explore quotes that helped make the book amazing. Sometimes a book isn’t amazing though, and some lines really showcase that. I like sharing those too. Whether they’ve made me laugh, cry, exploded my heart, got me to snort, or had me in a rage, the impact of a good quote must be shared! Who knows, you may add these books to your TBR.
“Dreams that come true can be beautiful, but they can also turn into nightmares when people won’t wake up.” (Caraval, Stephanie Garber)
This line hooked me on this trilogy and I never looked back. I’d needed adventure and amazement and this hit the spot. Fantastical, stunning, and magical. I was left guessing and in a romantic fit. I can’t wait to reread this.
“Most of my life, I’ve romanticized death. I used to love the idea of something being so tremendous that it was worth dying for. But I was wrong. I think the most magnificent things are worth living for.” (Finale, Stephanie Garber)
This one struck to a deep place in my heart. The hopeless part of me relates so well to this. To me, the people I want to care about make me feel this way. They’re worth fighting for and the feeling is immense. Garber put it into words and made it feel so big that my heart swelled. I love her for it.
More to come soon…
-K.
