Hey there, bookworms!
How are you doing? We all find those lines that really help a book stand out. Here are a couple of quotes from some books that moved me.
“What’s meant to be is bound to happen, whether or not you approve.” (The Rules of Magic, Alice Hoffman)
If you know me, then you know I’m a believer in fate. Still, that doesn’t mean she isn’t fickle and doesn’t change her mind from time to time.
“Just be yourself. Or be a unicorn. One of the two.” (The Burning Shadow, Jennifer L. Armentrout)
There’s a good chance I’ve shared this one before. LOL. I can’t help it! It’s hilarious and rings true. This was such a great and wild read. And this quote hooked me also because it really got me thinking about how it doesn’t matter what somebody is as along as they’re finding their true selves. Of course, you’ve got your exceptions of the serial killer, racists, and homophobes. They don’t deserve to be unicorns but do need to rethink themselves.
