Sundown Rundown – August 2020

Hey book babes!

I can’t believe it’s the end of August already. Pardon me while I sob for the last bits of summer. But fall is here! There’s already leaves changing colors and falling here. The temperature has cooled. I’m so ready for HALLOWEEN!!!! I even picked out the books I’m going to tackle. I can’t wait.

So, the sun is setting and right now you probably just want to kick back and relax after a long day. The sky is that perfect array of soft blue, orange cream, and pinks and violets. Ugh, I love duck. Such a gorgeous time of day. While relaxing, take a scroll to see the books I’ve reviewed this month and catch up on any you’ve missed.

And, I know. I didn’t do a blog topic this month. I’m sorry, loves. I’ve had a lot happening this month. A work promotion. Wisdom teeth removal. Mum has some doctor appointments. It just wasn’t happening. But look out for one in September!

Favorite book this month: Black Dawn supreme! Rachel Caine doesn’t disappoint in this installation of MV. Not. One. Single. Bit. Once again, the Galls House is in danger, but their not the only ones. It’s the entire town. They’ll fight to keep what they have even though they should just run for the hills. So much character development that made my heart ooze. I freaking love Shane and Claire.

Least favorite book this month: The Lake just didn’t jostle much out of me. It was just very blah for a creature feature and ultimately left me disappointed.

More to come soon…
