Buffy the Vampire Slayer takes it up a notch by bringing the 90s pop culture hit into Generation Z. Buffy still seeks out that normal life amid being the Chosen One and fighting to keep the Hellmouth closed. But now, BTVS takes on social media and a whole new world order in high school.
The next generation has begun. After an explosion at Slayerfest and several casualties, a new slayer rises. Frankie Rosenberg, environmentalist witch and Willow Rosenberg's daughter. So much is unknown and Frankie's quiet life was just flipped upside down.
While BTVS was coming to a close with season 7, the omnibus comes to a close as well, pulling focus on Buffy's resurrection, the loss of Joyce, and the reappearance of old friends and enemies.
Season 4 comes to an an end and this volume delves into season 5. More dangers await the Scooby Gang as do unexpected cameos. At least it's not another apocalypse...this time.
