The Sundown Rundown – October 2020

Hey there, book cult!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

I hope you guys have had the spookiest of spooky days. The end of October has come. The sun is setting sooner. it’s getting colder. And right now, cuddling up with a cup of hot tea is my comfort place.

I’ve got the end-of-the-month wrap-up for you. it’s shorter than I anticipated. I got more spooky reading in than I did reviews this month. 😅 And, I didn’t even get a book tag in. I am wearing the cone of shame right now. Not that I think these excuses validate falling so far behind. I did have some mishaps at work (where I typically get to do my blogging, if I can). From a sliding pane falling from my display case to the ceiling springing a leak, work was falling apart. I am hoping to be more on track next month because my review pile is not getting any smaller.

Here’s what I’ve got for this month. If you’ve missed any of them then this is your chance to catch up. I hope to get more in next month. LOL.

Dune Wiki

Favorite Book This Month: Crazy Rich Asians was incredible! Absolutely stunning. I could run on forever about why, but instead, I’m going to beg everybody to read this. Culturally vibrant, luxurious, with so many secrets, so much gossip, gooey romance, and food. 🤤

Least Favorite Book This Month: Sentinel was a major letdown. Nothing but an attempt to please the audience and go up in flames while doing it. this made the entire series utterly pointless.

See you in November! Stay swanky, book humes.

More to come soon…

-K.
