It’s Fall! AHHHHH! Squeeeee! Was that dramatic? Yes. Do I regret it? No. I’ve got so many books I’m excited to dive into for the season and they be spooky! From Anne Rice to Charlaine Harris to Grady Hendrix, there are so many and I’m not ashamed. It may take me through November to finish them all and I accept that. There’s nothing wrong with an extended spooky season.

The Southern Book Club’s Guide to Slaying Vampires was soooooo good and this one sounds like it’ll be epic. The final girl is a trope I love and Hendrix brings an interesting and original story together with a whole group of final girls dealing with a killer taking them out one by one.

Hutchinson has always impressed and wowed me with his books. So much feeling, a dash of humor, and a dollop of supernatural. I love all of the elements he puts together in his books.
