Hey there, book monsters!
The sun is setting on March. As we come to the end, I’ve got the monthly wrap-up. So, while you enjoy the gorgeous, early Spring sunset, possibly with some zinfandel or whiskey-tea if your persuasion is non-alcoholic-take a scroll to catch up on any reviews you might’ve missed this month.
Kingdom of the Wicked
Author: Kerri Maniscalco

Growing up on the dark tales of the Princes of Hell, twins, Emilia and Vittoria know better than to disregard them. However, when Vittoria turns up brutally murdered, Emilia will go to drastic lengths to avenge her. She may even agree to the help of Wrath, a Prince of Hell.
What Big Teeth
Author: Rose Szabo

Sometimes family can be monstrous and you don’t always recognize them. That’s the case for Eleanor. But, sometimes she’s monstrous, too.
The Cruel Prince
Author: Holly Black

Royalty doesn’t mean loyalty for the fae in this book. And there’s only thing yearned for more than the crown and that’s power. Jude, a human stolen away from her mother and father, will do whatever it takes for power, even throw her worst enemy, Prince Cardan, to the wolves.
Pure
Author: Jennifer L. Armentrout

Alex has only ever wanted to become a Sentinel, a warrior that fights and kills Daimons. Now, she’s faced with a destiny she didn’t ask for. Fated to be an Apollyon, she must deal with the connection between her and the current one, Seth. Several dangers surround her. From those who seek her downfall into servitude to Half-daimons attacking Covenants all across the world, Alex must come to terms with her possible future.
Favorite Book This Month: The Cruel Prince surprised me. Though it had a slow start, it sank its claws into me and didn’t let go. It went from subtle to craving to devious. Absolutely splendid.
Least Favorite Book This Month: Pure just really kept pressing the disappointment button for me. From a plot that wasn’t going anywhere to the lack of emotion and feeling, I just didn’t enjoy it. The potential was strong but it flatlined.
More to come soon…
