Hey there, bookworms!
So, every other Sunday I get to share a couple of lines from books I’ve (possibly) enjoyed with you guys. I love getting to do this post because it’s light, fun, and quick. I know you don’t need a looonng post to paddle through to the good stuff, so let’s get to the good stuff. maybe you’ve read these books and maybe these lines will get you intrigued enough to read them sometime.
“Mother Nature is schizophrenic and homicidal, and the only thing that stands between you and hideous painful death is a couple of thousand people worldwide hanging on by their fingernails.” (Chill Factor, Rachel Caine)
I miss Rachel Caine so much. She is a gem of a writer and I am still surprised that her eye-catching, action and emotion-packed work hasn’t been opted for series’.
“When I look into the future all I see is how weak most people are, and how little they do to fight fate or fortune.” (The Witching Hour, Anne Rice)
Another author I adore that’s passed recently. The Mayfair Witches was how I stepped into the world of Anne Rice and was sucked in. I know Interview with the Vampire will be hitting AMC as a TV series later this year with Jacob Anderson (Game of Thrones) as the lead, Louis and I’m pretty stoked. I also still need to read that series.
More to come soon…
-K.
