The 7 Deadly Sins Book Tag

Goodreads

Hey there, book addicts!

I didn’t get tagged for this book tag-I usually don’t which is okay since I can make an OG one or search for a unique one. Speaking of, I found this one while milling about and I may have done it in the past, maybe not. In any case, It’ll be fun to refresh it and do it. I snagged this from Berries & Books. Feel free to give this one a try as well. It was a lot of fun.

GREED: What is the most expensive book you own?

it’s definitely the special edition of Finale by Stephanie Garber that I got for myself for my birthday last year. That’s right! For those of you who’ve listened to my moaning about it, I finally got it! And it was totally worth it.

GLUTTONY: What book(s) have you devoured countless times?

I’ve read a couple of series multiple times, but they don’t compare to the book I read every summer, Blood and Chocolate by Annette Curtis Klause. The movie was horrible, BUT I’m not opposed to a redeemable TV show. Just saying.

SLOTH: What book/series have you neglected over sheer laziness?

Meehhhh…laziness? I know I have a giant book mountain, so mostly, it’s just trying to get to all of the books in a timely fashion. However, there are books I’ve strayed away from due to how hyped up they are by others. The After series is one of these, but at the same time, I’m slugging through it for how horrible they are.

PRIDE: What book(s) do you bring up when you want to sound like an intelligent reader?

This one made me laugh out loud. I can’t help it. I went to school and graduated in English: Adv. Fiction and Adv. Poetry, so picking only one book is hard. Having read the postmodern fiction novel, Vineland by Thomas Pynchon was a piece of work. While it was complex and wild, it was fantastic.

Then there’s War of the Worlds by H. G. Wells, Frankenstein by Mary Shelley, and anything Shakespeare. There are others, but I enjoy talking about these ones.

LUST: What attributes do you find most attractive in characters?

HA! I can’t resist a character that tests my limits and shocks me with a one-liner. The one that can dig into the aggravation of my soul and then smirk all proud of themselves because they get some joy out of it. Wit is also clever and a bonus.

ENVY: What book(s) would you most like to receive as a gift?

I have an entire Amazon list of books. (here) LOL. The most recent is the Dark Olympus trilogy by Katee Robert, but truly? The Magicians box set by Lev Grossman would leave me absolutely tingled.

WRATH: What author(s) do you have a love/hate relationship with?

This one is tricky. A love/hate relationship could be for any reason and I don’t really have an author I feel that way about. Am I annoyed when some author’s books don’t keep up with some of their other works in terms of greatness? Yes, but that’s about it…

More to come soon…
