Speedy Quote Sunday

Hell there, book cult!

I am back with the Speedy Quote Sunday! I’m pretty thrilled about it. With life taking me for a spin last year, I just couldn’t keep up and needed to take a break from a few things. This post was one of them. But, now, I’m ready to get it going again. Even more, I love how short this post is. While I get to share some meaningful bookish words, I don’t wind up wasting too much of your time. Sometimes sweet and short is the way. 😉

Books have some amazing lines that just stay with you. They imprint on you. They can even change you without you noticing. It’s quite unique and beautiful. Here’s a couple from books I’ve read and (possibly) enjoyed.

Sometimes, I look outside, and I think that a lot of other people have seen this snow before. Just like I think a lot of other people have read those books before. And listened to those songs.” (The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Stephen Chbosky)

“A friend is a gift you give yourself.” (The Theory of Everything, Karie Luna)

This is a light one today, yet deep. On occasion, we all look at life from a different angle. We just may not talk about it much. Thank gods for books that can read out like this and relate some of our wispy, contemplative, thoughts.

More to come soon…

-K.
