The Scarlet Playlist-Nov. 8, 2021

Hey there, book hoarders!

Happy Monday! I hope you guys are doing well. I’m excited to bring you the playlist of the week. This is one of my favorite posts to do because I love listening to music almost as much as I love to read. This one really played on the heart and the way it beats harder, anxiously in those emotionally rendering moments. The realizations of acceptance in many forms that can be heartbreaking but also make you stronger.

And who knows, maybe you recognize a few. Maybe you’re discovering a couple to add to your own music library. In any case, I compiled this just for you. Have a great week, guys!

1. Kiss You Inside Out – Hedley

2. Never Really Over – Katy Perry (I was ecstatic when this and Daisies came out. It reminded me of her past music and this one really reminds you that the past happened. You don’t forget how it affected you.)

3. Perfect – Miggs (Imperfection is perfect.)

4. We Might As Well Be Strangers – Keane

5. Crash – Esthers

6. Scars to Your Beautiful – Alessia Cara (Learning to accept and love yourself is one of the biggest battles you’ll have. I love how this song reaches out to that.)

7. Afterglow – Taylor Swift

8. One Step at a Time – Jordin Sparks (A peppy beat reminding to take life one step at a time. YES.)

9. Love I’m Given – Ellie Goulding

10. Follow You Down – Gin Blossoms (Catchy and a reminder that there are people out that have your back.)

11. I’m Still Here – Vertical Horizon

12. Underneath – Alanis Morrissette

More to come soon…
