Hey there, book cult!
I hope you are all swell. One thing is for sure. If you’re up this late then you must be a night owl like me. There’s nothing wrong with that. It’s the best time to read! It’s also the best time for a snack.
I know things have been wonky this year, and I don’t just mean on my blog. The world, too. We’re all focusing on getting back to normal that we’re not really accepting the fact that there’s no going back to said “normal”. We should be moving forward and doing our best to adapt. It’s not easy. Nobody and nothing said it would be. In any case, if I’m honest, 2021 almost seems worse than 2020. They are competing with each other.
Moving the contemplative thoughtfulness out of the way, I have been regaining my energy for things I enjoy and that give me life. Okay, one thing. Working on the second. It’s reading. Reading is that thing. LOL. The second is getting back to writing. For now, however, it’s just the one thing. With that, grab a snacky-snack and check out what’s coming up this month from my TBR!
Coming Soon…

The Game
Author: Linsey Miller
This came out around the same time Escape Room did so I’m wondering if it’ll be along the same cheesy lines of it. Nothing wrong with that, but be prepared for me to laugh and have a lot of jokes about this.

We Were Restless Things
Author: Cole Nagamatsu
The moment I heard about this I was intrigued and humming to read it. So many good reviews, but mostly I was attracted by the quick summary. I can’t wait to dive in.

The Merciless I (The Merciless #1)
Author: Danielle Vega
Time to get in the spirit of Halloween and Vega always gets me in the mood. Also, this collection has been on my TBR for a very long time. I’m pretty stoked. Vega does amazing horror. It’s always fun, entertaining, energizing, and the jump scares always keep me invested.

The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (Sisterhood #1)

The Phantom of the Opera

Beautiful Redemption

Go the Distance
Author: Jen Calonita
So, it’s a jam-packed month! I’m pretty stoked about it and am glad to have time to gather myself together and find a little balance. I’d lost both for the last six months. I’m holding out that this month will help me and working on shoving my anxiety back a step. Tackling my TBR certainly helps. It’s a wonderful happy place. What’s your happy place?
Happy reading, loves!
More to come soon…
