Hey there, book lovers!
Hey guys! I hope everyone is doing sunny-side spunky. Every other Sunday I share a couple of quotes from books I loved or reviewed. I love this because some lines are too great not to share with everyone else. Some left a mark on my heart while others may have tossed into a rage. Then there are the ones that are just funny. Who doesn’t like a good laugh?
“Sometimes, just saying that you hate something, and having someone agree with you, can make you feel better about a terrible situation.” (The Bad Beginning, Lemony Snicket)
A classic among Middle Grade and YA. And this, right here, is the fracking truth. You just have to get it out of your system and there’s nothing wrong with that. Well, if you share it with the wrong person, that is probably, most definitely not good. Still, don’t let things that leave you in turmoil inside.
“Whether this right now is a dream or not, it doesn’t matter. We’re no longer in the ‘outside world’. We’re somewhere else.” (Dreamfall, Amy Plum)
Me when I space the feck out. LOL. Still, this was a powerful, ominous line. Ever felt anything like this? I have a couple times and it left me a little shooketh. I’m talking bone-chilled, hair on the back of your neck standing on end, you’re alone but not alone kind of feeling.
More to come soon…
