Midnight Tease

Hey there, book humes!

It’s the witching hour! If you’re up this late then you’re a night owl like me and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Fall is officially here! Which means…HALLOWEEN! Yes, I am one of those people that gets amped up for it beyond geekery. And yes, I have a Halloween tree.

Anywho, this month for reading, I’m going to tackle my goals from last month. I’ve fallen a little behind, but I’m hoping to catch up. I do have some books i’m beyond excited to review. So, here’s what’s comign up for September!

Coming Soon…

The Theory of Everything
Author: Kari Luna

One I’ve had for a while and been meaning to get to. A search for one’s father leads to a wild adventure.

The Slippery Slope (ASOUE #10)
Author: Lemony Snicket

The Baudelaire’s journey gets icy and dicey as Violet and Klaus work to save their little sister, Sunny from the villainous Count Olaf. The series takes a turn for the dreadful and it’s far too late to turn back.

The Lake of Dead Languages
Author: Carol Goodman

This was a gift from a friend. She told me she was absolutely sure that THIS was my kind of read. paranormal, dramatic, and beautiful. Can’t wait to read it.

The Southern Book Club’s Guide to Slaying Vampires
Author: Grady Hendrix

The Carnivorous Carnival (ASOUE #9)
Author: Lemony Snicket

Sword and Pen (The Great Library #5)
Author: Rachel Caine

Up For Review…

Storm and Fury (The Harbinger #1)
Author: Jennifer L. Armentrout

Cracked Kingdom (The Royals #5)
Author: Erin Watt

Bitter Blood (The Morganville Vampires #13)
Author: Rachel Caine

Even though these are mostly books that I meant to get to last month, I’m still excited about this month’s reading list. I’ll get ot finally finish a couple series as well as get to a couple new releases from this year. So much diversity here and I can’t wait ot jump in.

More to come soon…
