Hey, book cult!

It is August. Wow. Seriously though. Wow. Anybody else wondering what level of Jumanji we’re starting next? Possibly bracing yourselves? Me too.

Well, it is the midnight hour and if you’re like me then you’re a night owl too. Since you’re up, you might as well take a scroll to see what books are coming up on The Scarlet Reader this month! I’m really tackling some of my books for my New Year’s Resolution as well as getting to some hidden gems I picked up a couple years ago. Pretty excited. Then again, I’m always excited about books. LOL. And who knows, maybe one’ll catch your eye and you’ll put it on your own TBR or maybe you’ve read a couple of these already!

I started this series a couple of years ago and am finally getting to complete it. Powerful, intelligent, emotional, and just rich with beauty. Smoke and Iron was an adrenaline rush and just heartbreaking. I can’t wait to see how this ends, but I’ve got a feeling tears will be shed. Like, a river, guys.
