Hey, bookworms!
I know. What a weird book tag, right? What’s so interesting about a weather book tag. Well, the more I thought about the more I noticed that readers read much like the weather. There’s always a certain book that’s perfect for the weather. A great one for when it’s a beautiful day and you feel like reading under that blooming tree. A great one for when it’s raining or snowy outside and you just want to get cozy and mull the grey away. You get it. So, I thought, why not? Here’s a tag for each blustery type of day.

How to do it:
Just answer honestly with what book you feel on that type of day. Enjoy it!
Make sure to tag at least 3 others and me since I created this.
Have fun!
A book for a fresh spring day, all sun, blue skies:

The Southern Book Club’s Guide to Slaying Vampires
Author: Grady Hendrix
I’ve heard so many good things about this book! I feel like it’s definitely one I’d lose time with under my favorite tree.
A book for a cloudless day on the beach, on a chair in the sand:

We Were Liars
Author: E. Lockhart
I’m actually very excited to read this! Secrets, secrets, SECRETS! Hoping to get to it this summer!
A book for a rainy day with a mug of tea/coffee:

You
Author: Caroline Kepnes
A thriller where you fight with yourself about whether you’re crushing on the antagonist or not? Everybody loves a man that pays attention and has their best interest at heart, but maybe not when they start killing your friends and loved ones.
A book that you’ll read by candlelight during the blackout caused by a hectic thunderstorm:

Caraval
Author: Stephanie Garber
I’m actually recommending this whole trilogy. Wild and mysterious and perfect to get lost in, in the dark. You can also check out my reviews on the first two books: Caraval and Legendary here on my blog if your curiosity is piqued.
A book for a cool day when the leaves are changing colors and the seasons are changing:
Ash Princess
Author: Laura Sebastian
A princess rising from the ashes of her people. YASSS!
A book for a snowy day that you wrap yourself in a blanket with:

The Snow Child
Author: Eowyn Ivey
Another one that I’ve been told is bittersweet. Supposed to be beautiful as it follows a couple that is falling apart and suddenly find themselves with a child that came from the snow child they’d built.
Some tags are short but that doesn’t mean it can’t be fun. I’m sure there are some books that are just perfect for days like this.
I’m tagging:
More to come soon…
