Speedy Quote Sunday

Speedy Quote Sunday

Hey, book butterflies!

So, every other Sunday I pop up a Speedy Quote Sunday. Should be pretty obvious what that is, but just in case, here you go, loves. Quick and painless, but with immense feeling and thought, I bring you a couple book quotes that have really struck my bookworm being and I can’t help but share. Who doesn’t love a good book quote to make them feeling heart-warmed or to make them laugh even?

“No reality has the power to dispel a dream.” (When Did You See Her Last, Lemony Snicket)

TRUTH! For real. And if it threatens to do so fight back. Don’t allow dreams to fade away and become the dreadful, regret-filled what if.

“If I’m going to die, I’d like to actually live first.” (Five Feet Apart, Rachael Lippincott, Mikki Daughtry, Tobias Iaconis)

A beautiful movie and beautiful book! This is one of my absolute favorite quotes! Whether living with a dreadful disease or not, this inspiring quote applies to everyone. LIVE! We’re going to die eventually. Everyone. Unless you’re a vampire or something else immortal, then it sucks to suck. But, in knowing that at some point there will be an end to your book, make it a hell of a story. Don’t settle. Don’t hold onto fear forever. That means waging war against fears on occasion. Stop and smell the *insert your favorite flower here*. And look at me ramble about this. Geez. You get it. I just love this one. Short, but it really panged me in the heart.

More to come soon…
