Hi everyone!
It’s tag time. I’m not going to tag anyone directly. If you want to do the tag then please do. I snagged this from Elaine Howling who snagged it from Talk Less Read More.
- Pick a book for each of your initials… K.J.
King Lear
Author: William Shakespeare
Journey to the Center of the Earth
Author: Jules Verne
Very odd that two classics came from my initials, but they were just about all I could find that I’ve read. I LOVE Shakespeare though, so no complaints.
- Count your age along your bookshelf, what is it?
Black Bird of the Gallows
Author: Meg Kassel
- Pick a book set in your city/country.
Lux Series
Author: Jennifer L. Armentrout
I actually went to college not too far from where the main characters, Kat and Daemon, lived, which was crazy! More so, it was so CRAZY that she has my name and is very similar to me. Weird but awesome!
- Pick a book that represents a place you’d like to travel to.
Out of the Easy
Author: Ruth Septyas
New Orleans, baby! I’ve always wanted to go. My mum freaks out a little, warning me of voodoo and not to royally piss of anyone, worried I’d get cursed. I personally want to go just to explore all of that. The dark, mysterious, magic, and supernatural have always fascinated me. It gets my blood rushing and a strange adrenaline of excitement and fear.
- Pick a book that’s your favourite colour.
Isla and the Happily Ever After
Author: Stephanie Perkins
- Which book do you have the fondest memories of?
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs
Author: Judy Barrett, Ron Barrett
This is my favorite Children’s book. I am also a big foodie. The movies are wonderful and I gush like a tiny human every time I watch them. It’s a story of great imagination and the artwork is phenomenal. A true classic right next to Where the Wild Things Are.
- Which book did you have the most difficulty reading?
Heart of Darkness
Author: Joeseph Conrad
This is a recent one too! Before this book, it was Thomas Pynchon’s Crying of Lot 49. The only difference is that I really REALLY enjoy Thomas Pynchon. He’s wild and really spins my mind out into the Twilight Zone which is always fun. Joeseph Conrad gave a massive headache and made me make a frumpy face. I was really riding the struggle bus with this book. Hopefully, I will reread it again one day.
- Which book in your TBR pile will give you the biggest accomplishment when you finish it?
Game of Thrones
Author: George R. R. Martin
This is only the current one. My TBR pile is pretty BIG. But for one that Coming up pretty soon? Definitely this one. I’ve heard many people say this is a great story, but that it takes a good long while to get through and that it can be a bit of a struggle. I love the show, which was also a struggle for me at first, so I’m ready to tackle the book. I’m kind of excited.
