HAPPY HALLOWEEN, MY LOVES!!!!
It is a glorious day for spooks, scares, and treats! Whether you’re dressing up, gorging on surgary goodness, watching scary movies, going out and TPing houses, or any number of fun things, enjoy the holiday. I know it’s my ultimate favorite.
I know this year I got pretty literary and dressed up as my favorite William Shakespeare character. From A Midsummer Night’s Dream, I give you, Robin Goodfellow. A Puck.
Halloween—All Hallows Eve—Samhain.
It has many many names and derives from the ancient Celtic festival from some 2,000 years ago. Imagine that, one of the most beloved holidays in which we celebrate letting our freak-flag fly and embrace the supernatural more than ever originates in Ireland. It’s also considered the time when the veil between the living and the dead is the thinnest. It’s such a special time in my opinion that we are open to anything and while that can be scary, it can be pretty awesome.
Just remember to be safe folks.
My reading this month has been off and on honestly. I got out a couple of really fun book tags and reviews. If you happened to miss a few reviews then get ready, here’s everything I’ve read this month.

Favorite Book of the Month: Ender’s Game was AMAZING! Sci-Fi reaches new heights. Now, I know this has been out for a few decades, but still. This book blew my mind with its plot and shocking reveals. So original and intense and an emotion bender.
Least Favorite Book of the Month: Heart of Darkness was not as appealing as I hoped it would be. The darkness that dwells within man is complex and always intriguing, but reading it in this way really wore me down. I couldn’t keep with it that well.
More to come soon…
